The Greater Chicago Food Depository is Chicago’s food bank, serving as the hub for a network of more than 700 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and community programs across Cook County. Its mission is to end hunger by connecting neighbors with healthy food and addressing the root causes of food insecurity. Through food distribution, advocacy, and job training initiatives, the Food Depository works to ensure that no one in the Chicago community goes hungry.

Through donated hair and financial contributions, Locks of Love gives children the opportunity to regain their self-esteem and face the world with renewed confidence.
